Nice Mattress, February 4, 2009 By This review is from: 7 Inch Children Memory Foam Mattress - Pink I purchased this for my 3 year old's trundle bed. Currently it is being used on the main bed until her mattress arrives. It is perfect for a child and have no complaints. It was shipped quickly in a roll. After it was unrolled it didn't take long for it to take it's form and no strange smell like other memory foam mattresses.

I just got it a few days ago for my daughter's 1st big kid bed and so far it's very nice. It is delivered rolled up very tightly in thick plastic and strapping, but it only took a few minutes to flatten out. It feels firm, but comfortable. I noticed a slight chemical odor, but it went away quickly. The velour-like cover feels soft and sturdy and is removable and washable which is a major plus for kids use. It's a good height for placing on a platform bed or trundle bed.
My only problem, which isn't really a problem, is that the bed is 74-75" long which is 4-5" shorter than most twin sheets. Since it is also only about 7" in depth, the mattress swims around a bit in the fitted sheet I bought. I wish sheets were available that fit snugly around memory foam mattresses. Loose sheets bug me.
